God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

Unplanned Dr Appt Today

I woke up this am to go to the bathroom and to my surprise of bleeding on my underwear. I laid back down for 30 minutes to see if I had anymore and I got up to get ready for work and to my dismay I had some on my pad and when I wiped, Sorry to much info. I went into work and let my boss know what is going on and called the my Ob Dr office. They told me to come in at 9:45. So I went in for my appt and she checked my cervix to make sure that it was not changing and I am closed and she said that she did see some dried blood and there is some small active bleeding, but not sure where it is coming from she is think from the Previa. She listen to baby with the Doppler and he sounded fine. She then hooked me up to the monitor that they have in the office to tract heartbeat and contractions. Noah sounded good on the monitor, and no contraction which is good. He had a few dips on the monitor, but she thinks that is do to him moving. He hates the Doppler and the monitors he kicks it all the time. So I have an ultrasound today at 1pm. I can't wait to see my little man. She said that he looks good on the monitor and she had a good strip. There is a chance that I might have to go on bed rest, it depends on what the ultrasound shows. He needs to stay put for at least another 6-8 weeks. I am 27 wks and 3 days. Third Trimester hear we come. Will update more later. Please pray with me that he will stay safe and healthy and that he stays put in my tummy for at least another 6 weeks if not longer.

Oh gosh your previa is really giving you trouble. I hope you dont have to go on total bed rest but if you do I have some great reading material to suggest for you!! I hope he stays nice and snuggled in there so he can grow for at least another month and a half. Good luck. Praying for the best.
