My little peanut is growing fast

I can't believe that I have a 5 1/2 month old (22weeks), were has the time gone. He is growing and doing things new everyday. He is my little miracle from God, I can't imagine life without him.
* He is eating and liking his fruits. He love applesauce, pears, bananas. He likes peas and green beans so far in the vegetables group.
* He is wearing size 3 diapers, weight in as of Friday a whopping 15 lbs-3 oz.
*Can say Mama as of today I heard him and Carter as well heard him say it.
* Can hold his own bottle, he has not rolled over yet he rolls to his side and then he flops back.
He can scoot from from one direction to the other. We put him to bed one way and find the other way in the am.
* He is sleeping about 8-10hrs a night, in his crib.
* He loves to laugh, scream and holler.
* Loves to cuddle and be held.
* He is getting 2 teeth coming in one on the top and one on the bottom. He drools all the time.
* He lights up when he sees our puppy.

Update!

A little update on my little guy that is growing like a weed. He is going on 19 wks old tomorrow, 1 wk short of 5 months. He had his 4 month check update last week( I know 2 weeks last better late then never) as well as his 4 mo shots.
He is weighting in at 13 lbs-15oz 25th percentile in weight as of last Thursday and 26 1/2 inches long and 80th percentile in length. He had his first taste of baby food on Saturday applesauce. I posted a few pic below of that experience, he did not like it at first but his loves it now. We have been mixing it in with his rice cereal at times and seems to like it. He did well at getting his immunizations as well he only cried for less then a minute and mommy picked him up and cuddled him and he was fine.
I can't believe at how fast he is growing and getting. I am still waiting for him to roll over. He loves to stand and sit up with help of course. He is sleeping in his crib and has now since New year day night. The last 2 night his has slept straight through the night, no middle of the night feeding. I am still breastfeeding and pumping with some formula mixed in at times. My plan is to try and make it to 6 months of breastfeeding if possible not much time 5 weeks. My supply is going down some since I have been back to work and the supply that I had in the freezer is gone.
Hope that everyone is well, I am trying to catch up on blogs while I am feeding him at times and have not went back to comment, Sorry all but I am following you.

Laughing at grandma

Tasting my new food

Oh gee mom what is this

I am waiting!

Hello 2010!

Noah napping after opening gifts.

2nd time with trying cereal

Hello all, sorry for being MIA for the past 3 weeks. I find it hard with a baby to sit down and blog most of the time these days. I just put him to bed for the night so I have a chance now.

*Christmas was great with Noah this being his first year, he just loved staring at the tree and watching all the people. He loved listening to the paper being ripped.
* He is going on 18 weeks old, where does the time go these days, if seem like he was just born. He does something new each day. He loves to stand with you holding his hands and sit up with you holding him. He is cooing and giggling more each day. I discovered on Saturday the day after Christmas that he has a tooth coming in on the top right. He has been drooling and fussy a lot so I thought that something is up. It is poking through.
He loves to grab at things now, he can hold a rattle and shake it for a few and then he drops it. He tries to put everything in his mouth. He especially like to pull at Mommy's hair. I love it when he laughs and smiles it just makes my day.
* He slept through the night for 2 weeks and now that he has a tooth coming in he sleeps for about 4 hours then he awakes for a feeding then goes back to sleep. We started putting him in his crib for the first night on New Years day night, and it has gone okay, better then I thought. I feed him and when I see that he is rubbing his eyes then I know that he is getting sleepy so I put him to bed and he does not cry. He has this V-tech Dog that you can set it to songs for so long so I let that play and he is usually out in 5-10 mins.
* We started giving his cereal on Christmas day and he is starting to like it. Saturday we go to baby food, which will be interesting. Most of the time we get more on him then in his mouth. I am still breastfeeding with some formula add to it, we are doing half and half, he is doing okay with that. He would rather have my milk then formula, but this helps him to get more satisfied with doing the half and half.
* He usually takes 2-3 naps a day. He hates to have a wet diaper so we go through them like crazy these days. He lets us know when he is wet. I have been give him a bottle with about 2 oz of warm water each day to help with his bowel movements. It seem that since we have been doing the formula added to my milk he does not go as often as he used to. When I am home he eats from me. I pump it when I am at work. I am trying to make it to 6 month with the breast feeding if possible, if my supply continues.
Well I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and New Years. I had a great year last year cause Noah was born, it seems as that was the best thing that happened last year, the rest was a rough one with surgeries and trials and things, this is has to be better. I hope and prayer that for those of you that are still waiting for your miracle that this is your year.

13 wks old and Update From the Baker World.

Noah is now 13 wks old were has the time gone. Sorry that I have been MIA for the past two weeks. Things have been alittle busy and hectic. There is just not much time to blog when you work and have a 3 month old. Plus I just had surgery on Monday, I will get to that later.

Noah is growing so fast, last year at this time I would not have thought that I would have a little one to share the holidays with besides my husband and extended family. God has sure blessed us Noah and he is a sweet and fun little one to have around. He is holding his head up well and smiling and laughing all the time as long as he is feed and changed he is a happy camper for the most part. He loves to be talked to and he loves watching the dog run around in the house. He is holding a rattle now, and standing on his strong little legs as you hold him up.

He is eating well he is weighing in at 12lbs and 14 oz as of today. He had to go the the Dr today he has a rash that has just gotten worse and it was all over the back of his head and on his forehead and cheeks raised on spots, and was diagnosed as dry skin and cradle cap. So we have some medication from the Dr for that all.
Over the past 3 weeks, I have had to start supplementing some with formula, he was not getting satisfied, plus my milk supply as gone done some since I have been back to work, so I have been mixing half breast milk and half formula and he seems to be doing okay with it. He prefers me over the formula most of the time, I try to breast feed him when I can and I am available to. Has anyone else that has breastfeed and gone back to work experience their supply decreasing some as well and if so how do you increase it again?

Noah 1st thanksgiving was good, we had a great time with my parents on Thanksgivings Day and we came home, and about 1030 that night I was holding Noah and I got this pain in my stomach and upper back that was untolerable, so I told Carter that I was going to go to the Er to get it checked out. So I was there until about 1:30 in the am they ran some tests and everything came back normal. I called my mom to come up and take care of Noah, I was so drug with meds that I was not able to function, plus I was still in pain. So I was told to call and schedule an ultrasound for Friday am to rule out the gallbladder. So I went in for the ultrasound friday morning and I waited for the results there. Well it was as they thought the gallbladder, I had gallstones the size of quaters in there many of them. So I was in pain all weekend, Called and got an appt with a Dr Monday am and they scheduled me for surgery that afternoon. So I had my gallbladder out monday afternoon and starting to feel better, now just healing from the surgery.
My mom and mother-in-law came up on different days to help me and take care of Noah, since Carter had to work. My mom stayed Monday night and tuesday day and then Carters mom came up tuesday night until today and helped with Noah and cleaning. thank goodness for family.
So that is what is going on in the Baker house hold, sorry for such a long post. I hope that everyone is doing well in the blogging world, and I promise I will get caught up on everyone soon.

A Week of Firsts.

Life has been a little hectic this past week, as this is my post about a week of firsts.
1. I went back to work last week for the first time after having Noah, it went okay. I cried a lot.The people I work with are very supportive and were very sweet as I made the transition back into the flow of things, Thursday was alittle easier for the most part.

2. It was Noah's first week at the daycare. On Monday Carter toke him and I called to check on him a few times. I cried when I left the house Monday am and throughout the day as well. I guess he cried for her for 30 mins Monday,Tuesday 45 mins and Friday hour and a half. She is very sweet about me calling and checking on him throughout the day. Thank goodness most of the days that he is there he is only there for 4 hours, just enough to cover an overlap of my hours and my husbands.

3. Noah's first Sunday at church this am. I am a slacker when it comes to getting up and going to church these days. I need to get back in the routine of going every Sunday.

4. Yesterday we celebrated my nephew 1 st Birthday. His actual birthday was on the 15th of this month, but they had the party yesterday. He is the one in the picture below with Noah.

Sleeping after a long drive home from Nana and Papws. We stayed last night at my parent house.

Today Noah is 2 months old, where has the time gone. He amazes me everyday at what he can do. It makes my morning and day when he wakes up and I start talking to him and he looks up and gives me this big grin and smile, it just melts my heart. I thank God every day for him. He is sleeping about 5 hours a night and he loves his bath time at night. We have a routine in the evening in which he is doing okay with. He has his 2 mo well baby check tomorrow, I can't wait to see how much he weights. He loves to be talked to and he coos and awes and makes noises at you, it is the cutest thing.

I will post about last weekend trip to the in-laws and 3rd shower pictures when I get more time little one is starting to wake up to eat.
Well hope everyone is having a good weekend what is left of it and everyone have a good week.
