15 wks

How your baby's growing:Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple). She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds. Finally, if you have an ultrasound this week, you may be able to find out whether your baby's a boy or a girl! (Don't be too disappointed if it remains a mystery, though. Nailing down your baby's sex depends on the clarity of the picture and on your baby's position. He or she may be modestly curled up or turned in such a way as to "hide the goods.")

I have a Dr appt in the am to check on peanut and check on how he/she is doing, I love hearing the heartbeat that is that best sound to my hears. Then next week the 19th I have my Ob appt. Then 2 wks later we have our ultrasound to check and see if the placenta previa has corrected itself( finger crossed that it has by then), and hopeful we will be able to find out whether it is a girl or a boy as well. Please keep peanut and me in your prayer if you would, that peanut is growing and is healthy, and that I have a safe and healthy 5 months with a safe delivery. I am feeling good, I have to take it easy with the previa.

So glad to hear that peanut is doing well. Cant wait to find out if you are having a boy or a girl and if you plan on sharing names with us! I am sure that everytime you hear your babys heart beat is amazing. I just cant believe you are 15 weeks already. I should ovulate soon although I am not feeling optomistic after my Dr. appt yesterday. She talked with me about dhs SA results and how they arent good at all. We will see what the urologist says. Keep me in your prayers Jen I hope I can join you in the prego club soon. Thanks
