A little Scare.

I had a little scare Saturday morning. I wake up to double over cramping and some spotting. It started Friday night and I didn't think anything of it until it got really bad Saturday am. So I decided to go to the ER and get it checked. They did blood work and an urinalysis. My levels came back where they should be and I didn't have an infection. So the Dr came in and told me that he could order an ultrasound if I wanted him to and I said that yes I did I need some peace of mind. So I am lying on the ultrasound table in tears and the tech is like what going on talk to me. So I told her what was going on and that I have had a miscarriage 6 months ago and she was so sweet and comforting and sympathetic. She did a transverse and a vaginal one. Baby is fine heart rate was 157 and the little peanut was moving on the screen. I felt so relieved to see and hear our peanut. It was music to my ears. I am suppose to take it easy the next few weeks. I pray that this little peanut stays put and continues to grow for the next 7 months. Lord please keep my baby safe and healthy. The Dr told me that it is not unusual to have cramping and spotting in the first trimester, but it is not normal either, which confused me a little. I haven't had anymore spotting since Saturday afternoon, Thank you Lord and the cramps are somewhat better as well.

i was a teacher and everytime i was on my feet for a few hours i would have spotting. soon enough my dr put me on modified bed rest. it was hard to be off work for so long. i didn't have to lie in bed all day, but i just couldn't be on my feet. it was worth it though for the little boy i have now! glad all is well!
