1. Today I had my physical and drug screening and meeting with human resources to get my badge and orientation info for Monday. So now it is official I am now a Parkview employee.
2. Tomorrow is my last day at my job in Warsaw, In. It is bittersweet, I am going to miss some more then others. But I planned to stay prn with my current employer and will work 2 Saturdays a months with another clinic for extra money.
3. I am alittle frustrated by the results with the election. Especially since Obama is for abortions. I just have to go to our GOD who is the one that reigns on high and knows what is in the best interest for our country. I just can't comprehend how some one can kill an innocent baby. As I believe that life begins at conception. If you could please say a prayer for our country and our new president. I voted for McCain all the way.
4. I have been attending a small group on Sunday evenings from our church, it goes along with the sermon that morning. We are halfway through a series called 30 days to live. Last Sunday morning service was Learn Humbly. It was an awesome service. So I attend the group that evening and we were into the study and we come along to the first question which is: What trials are you currently facing? What lesson do you think God may be wanting you to learn through this ordeal?
The verses that it has us go in to is James 1:2-4------------------ 2 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it and opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
I find those verses giving encouragement to me. God is so good.
I have a study bible and it has a little side note that says: We can't really know the depth of our character until we see how we react under pressure. It is easy to be kind to others when everything is going well, but can we still be kind when others are treating us unfairly? God wants to make us mature and complete, not to keep us from all pain. Instead of complaining about our struggles, we should see them as opportunities for growth. Thank God for promising to be with you in rough times. Ask him to help you solve your problems or to give you the strength to endure them. Then be Patience. God will not leave you alone with your problems; he will stay close and help you grow. I struggle with being patience waiting for him to show me the way, after I have asked for it.
I also meet two couples in the group that have had trouble in the past getting pregnant and dealt with infertility. One couple tried for 7 years and now has a 2 yr old and the other couple tried for 3 yrs and turned to IVF and got pregnant with her first and had no trouble with her other 2 children. So ladies there is hope out there for us. It was so nice to talk to others from church that know how I feel as well as you fellow blog buddies.
4. I am currently on Cd10 so ovulation is coming near.
Hope everyone has a Good rest of the week.
God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

WoooooooHoooo on your new job... I am so excited for you... May the Lord start leading those at this new place for you to be able to spread those seeds... I am searching for jobs but I know that He is the One in control and waiting for the door to stay open or close it. Yes I was for McCain all the way too and I think the Lord is telling us to BE READY and to be in PRAYER! I am so happy that you are meeting couples that are sharing their testimonies as we are able to be a testimony to those that miscarry and also when the Lord blesses us with a child we will be able to share a more beautiful testimony. God bless and keep up the positiveness... I haven't been all that positive lately but the Lord is showing me ALOT just in these past 2 days. Take care...
There you go again, giving me and everyone else hope! Thanks! I hope you kick butt and take names at your new job!
I'd say good luck at your new job, but we both know that luck has nothing to do with it and GOD has everything to do with it!
Thanks for the reminder that we need to look to our trials to further our faith. Soooo needed to hear that today.
Glad you found other couples to share with and help give you hope for the future.
Congrats on the new job and I'm so glad you are able to share your story and gain encouragement from the couples you have met.
Hugs and prayers,
Amanda
