God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

A night out at Valpo!

Kim and I
Kim and Adam

Last night we met up with one of my friends from college and her boyfriend. Carter and I met with them (Kim and Adam) in Valpo since that is half way for Kim. We went out to eat and then went bowling. It was a quite amusing night. Supper was good, we ate at an Italian/American/Mexican restaurant which had an variety of choices. Then we headed to go bowling and the directions that Kim had gotten from her cousin were not quite complete, so we drive around for at least 45 min then she decide to stop and get directions. It was quite comically cause she had to turn around a few times and the guys were giving her a hard time, saying that she was getting good at three-point-turn rounds so she stopped for the second time to get directions, and this time Adam got in the drivers seat and then we got stopped by a train that lasted at least 10 minutes. Then we finally arrived at the destination two hours before they closed. So we got two games of bowling in, and the was a good time, the last game for everyone sucked cause we were trying to hurry and get done, since they were starting to clean up the alley when we were on the 5 th frame of the second game. Then we were taken back to our cars and everyone headed for home. Carter and I got home at 2:45 a.m. this morning before the time change and with the time change it was 1:45 a.m. It was a great time, we needed to get away for the evening. Kim's boyfriend is very nice and treats her good, and that all that matters. They are fun to hangout with and I hope/and think that we will do it again sometime soon.
