God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

In the Midst of the Storm!

You ask why this title for my post well on Wednesday night we had a bad storm with thunder and lighting and it rained really hard with strong winds. Well I wake up to go to work Thursday morning and the alarm was blinking so the electricity went off, no problem so I jump in the shower and didn't think anything of it, well after showering I go out to the kitchen and see that the clock on the stove is not on, so I go over the the T.V. to turn it on and it won't turn on, so I go wake up Carter and he goes to check the breaker and he switches it on and the stove comes on, but as soon as you try to turn on the stove the breaker switches off. So then he goes in to the computer room to check on the two computer systems and the monitors and neither systems would power up or on. You talk about upset. So we have have had a frustrating start to the weekend. I called the insurance and they are wanting us to send in a spread sheet as to what we lost and what we paid for it and how long ago we purchased it. We are waiting on a estimate as to how much it will cost to replace the computers that he custom built him self. The thing is that we had all the stuff on surge protectors and it didn't work.
So we lost the 37 inch flat screen T.V., the computer LCD screen, the two computers the he built, his Xbox 360, his sound system and speakers, and most of computer networking equipment.
I feel that God is testing our faith and trust in him. I know that all will work out and he will get us through this storm, as God has a hand in everything and we will give him the glory and prasie as God is Good.
