Welcome Bloggers!

Hello all. Welcome to my blog. My blog is about me and my husband Carter's lives and what is going on in our world these days. We live in Indiana, and we have been married going on 3 years in June. We have two animals that are our kids at the present time, a Shepherd/Husky mix dog named Sophia and a fat cat named Tigger. We are present trying to start a family, and have to come to a bump in the road with infertility. We will be going through treatment in May. So feel free to take a look around my blog and enjoy a cookie and a glass of milk. I am looking forward to meeting a few friends along the way.

My husband and I are trying to have a baby now, too. We also are Christians. Say, we can be praying for each other! :) Waiting on the Lord's timing sure is hard! Honestly, I thought getting pregnant would be much easier than this. We have been trying for a year. There have been many tears shed as each month I ride the rollercoaster of emotions when I learn we must keep trying. I know My Heavenly Father has this all planned out and knows what is best. Yet, I keep finding myself trying to convince Him that NOW is the perfect time. :) I'm so human. Well, hopefully we can encourage one another as we wait on our Loving Lord. Email me anytime at dbstout[at]juno[dot]com

Hi Jen,
It's nice to meet you. The Calm One and I had to wait four years before I got pregnant with out first and then it seemed as if the dam broke b/c I ended up pregnant sooner and more often than I expected!
It's been great. And stressful. And wonderful.
I'll be tuning in again to see how your story progresses. Godspeed.

You are welcome to visit my little party anytime.

Hi, so nice to meet you!

I can relate to some of what you are going through as it took us almost 2 years before I was pregnant with our first child -- via IUI, which I notice is an option that you are considering if your surgery doesn't resolve the issue. If you have any questions, just let me know.

I'll keep you in my prayers!
