God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

Surgery (Laparoscopy)! Update

Sorry I have been a little slow and behind to post how the surgery went. I haven't felt up to doing much of anything until yesterday. Well anyway the surgery went well according to the Doctor, it couldn't have went any better, I had a moderate case of Endometriosis, in which they were able to remove all of it. After I had gotten out of surgery, they wanted me to eat and drink some, so I tried and I got really sick from the anesthesia, they tried to give me some meds through my IV and even a patch for dizziness and nausea that was placed behind my ear, and nothing seemed to work. I was just ready to come home, so they said that I could go home as soon as I could go to the restroom. So I finally got to come home and we got home about 7:30pm on Tuesday. My mom was planning on spending the night to help me since Carter had to work late. So she was a life saver, she had to help me get up and down, and helped me with what ever I needed at that time. I am glad that she was there, I was really out of it, plus someone had to let Sophia outside to go potty. The worst day for me was Wednesday ,the day after surgery, I was so sore and the anesthetic had worn off, Thursday was a little better but not much. I just wanted to get up and do things and I couldn't, cause I didn't want to over do it plus Carter wouldn't let me do much. As long as I stay up on the pain meds then I am good to go. Yesterday I got up and did dishes, and sweep the dining room floor, and I went to Walmart and the Owens with Carter, it was nice to get out. Today I am really sore, and my belly is all bruised around my belly button, where they went in and the other two sites are at the pelvic area. I have stitches in all the sites. I go back to the Dr. for my Post-Op on April 14Th. So until then I am on light duty with lifting.
Carter and I appreciate all the prayers and thoughts. We pray that this will fix the problem with getting pregnant, and my pain.
