Today mom and I made Christmas candy. We have done this for the past 3 years, and it is a time that I look forward to every year. We made buck-eyes, fudge, truffles and some candy with white chocolate on it made with pretzels, cereal, and M&M's. It takes us about 3-4 hours to get everything made. And then the fun is that you get to taste test everything. It is a fun time, and everything meets the standards with the taste-test. Plus it is fun hanging out with mom and dad since, I don't get over to Mentone very often to visit. It was a fun day.

I can't wait to start traditions like that with my kids. I think that next year we are going to start with a gingerbread house.
