God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

FireProof!

My husband and I went to go see Fireproof in the theater this weekend and I thought that it was excellent. I enjoyed it very much and recommend that couples see it no matter if you have a great marriage or a so so marriage; it celebrates a covenant marriage and unconditional love in a way I've never seen before in a movie. Kirk Cameron does an awesome job in it, I think that it really makes a difference that he is a christian himself. The movie makes you think about how you communicate with your spouse through your speaking and actions. I am going to take
The Love Dare challenge, as featured in the new movie Fireproof, is a 40-day challenge for husbands and wives to understand and practice unconditional love. Whether your marriage is hanging by a thread or healthy and strong, I have decided to do the challenge make my marriage stronger then it is now and grow closer to God and Carter, I feel that we can communicate alittle better then we do now. The movie made me laugh at some parts and cry in others.

Ooh, I saw a trailer on this movie and want to go see it. I'm trying to figure out how I can drag Babe to go see it with me. Did Carter like it? Did you have a hard time getting him to go see it?

Carter thought it was okay. He said that it was after school special since it was done by a church and no special effects like most of the movies have. I did not have trouble getting him to see it.
Over all he thought it was good.
